As the federal government is being dismantled, lots of experts that have been getting laid off or prime candidates for our P2P marketplace. For example, in 2006 we built a digital content, asset management system for delivery to digital music stores using Ruby on Rails. Months ago, I called him on the phone and asked if he still did any work like that. He replied that he was now a high-level administrator and had hundreds of people working for him who did just that kind of thing. However, after I called him back, he told me that most of those people have been laid off, and the reason he knew about it was because some of them had personally told him. He was never informed by the federal government that this would be happening. He has since connected me with many #Alt Groups on Bluesky, with thousands of experts, who are looking for something to do with their time, besides just complain on social media.

It’s time to get the band back together.
